Amber holds the history of a citadel, pulsating with a legendary past of 600 years and 28 kings of the Kachwaha
Dynasty. Through their unique diplomacy of strategic alliances, their valour and strength, these rulers not only
established a long dynasty but, in time, also played a part in changing the destiny of medieval India.
The son-et-lumi re show, at Amber, ends the silence that fell upon Amber when the capital moved to Jaipur. It is
an attempt to relive the pride of Amber, bringing forth the traditions that coloured the lives of its people and the
pomp that once existed in its fullest form : reviving the eternal spirit of Amber.
Set in an idyllic location, the show offers mesmerising visual pleasure and echoing sound – setting the mood for a
musical rendezvous.

Useful Information
1. The show is held at Kesar Kiyari, on Maota Lake, at the foot of Amber Fort
2. It is recommended that you arrive at the locale, at least 25 minutes before the show timings.
3. If you are coming from the City side, look for the signage, on your left, in the beginning of Maota lake:
turn in here for the access to the show venue.
If you are driving yourself, you may have to park your vehicle at the authorised Car Park area and walk
up to the venue (10 minutes leisure walk). For your information, the parking fees is payable to the Car
Park attendant, authorised by the Department of Archaeology & Museums.
If you are being driven by your chauffeur, you can be dropped at the venue, whereafter he has to park
the vehicle in the car park area.
If you are arriving at the locale on public transport, please arrange for a return – many a times, return is
difficult. Of course, in such eventuality our team would be helpful – it may take you some time, though.
4. The seating is outdoor with water surrounding you on at least two sides. Please carry something warm
to wear, during winter months.
5. Flash photography and audio or video recording is prohibited : it distracts other viewers too. Kindly
refrain from doing so.
6. We wish for your safety against the pandemic. For your safety and of the others coming for the show, let
us continue to wear the mask and follow the distancing planned at the arena.
